VISA enters gaming and esports territory as Main Sponsor

Great news for the gaming and esports territory.

This is not the first time VISA global has been involved in this territory, but it is in Spain and we are very happy to know that we have done our bit.

Why do we say this?

We started talking to VISA back in 2019. We knew that VISA had been interested in the Esports sector for a while now. But it is obvious that it takes time with multinationals of this calibre.

But it was not until October 2021 that we started to see serious possibilities to move forward with a project. This involved many meetings and conversations to design strategies, activations, campaigns, synergies, among others.

In the end Play The Game is an independent agency with a clear expertise in this territory thanks to our years of experience. We put all that into value to find, fit and serve the best possible proposal for VISA with their objectives and needs.

Knowing the strategy they had in mind, we started to search and we saw that the best option for VISA at that time would be Keres, whose objective was to revolutionise the gaming paradigm and create new female referents in the industry.

Fortunately women are becoming more and more relevant in this sector and we have always shown our support and commitment to further improve this situation.

In gaming the percentage of women in 2018 was 41% compared to 48% in 2021. (AEVI Report)

There is still a long way to go, but together we can do it.

Welcome back VISA to esports
